So my visit was a first for me. So close to the city centre where parking is not available to many hotels . Here car parking was free and freely available. That was the first big plus. I arrive at reception to book in , and maybe I was lucky but met this So welcoming and someone who afforded me eye contact , and had a little difficulty finding my booking , as I was a new customer and had not booked directly. It all got sorted in a timely manner but that young man brought these rare gifts to the reception of active listening and making me feel as valued. And important to you're hotel. The room was great value for the money., spacious, clean , loads of light with a check out of 12 noon. I was on business but if you were on holidays that extra time checking out can be really important. At the bar and food area . It was at peak time but the organisational structure ensured that everyone got sorted. My pint of Guiness for a hotel got my top score. The food . I just had a starter and it was fine. All in all . So close to Cork city . This is a hidden gem for the business or family visitor. I stay in many hotels on a weekly basis. My first time here, but definitely not my last. There is this lovely lived in feel to this hotel. The staff were the jewel in this hidden gem. Will be back

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, staying in the Barrymore Suite, which was absolutely HUGE! The king-sized bed was really cosy, and the blackout curtains made for a great night's sleep. The separate sitting room area was a fantastic bonus, especially with a toddler, giving us extra space to relax. The hotel itself was lovely, and the reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—going out of their way to assist us. The swimming pool was also a highlight, perfectly warm and very enjoyable. There was also an excellent kids' menu with lots of options. A beautiful hotel.

My favourite thing about this hotel was the staff who were warm and extremely helpful. Otherwise it was as you expect, a fancy, anonymous hotel with loads of easy parking, easy to get to from the main roads but not great for getting in and out of the city. It does have public transport sort of nearby so it is possible to stay here and enjoy Cork city, even if the walk from the hotel round the main road is not so great. We thought the food was excellent and generally had a lovely time here.

Lovely friendly staff at reception and in the bar and restaurant. Great parking. Lift to our room on the second floor. Room was beautiful very modern and clean. My daughter was given a bag with some snacks on arrival which was a nice touch. Breakfast was superb. The selection and freshness of the produce was excellent . The swimming pool was also great. It was my daughters birthday and they did a little dessert plate for her. Across from the hotel there are shops kfc, subway, spar.

Great location. Plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast options they have a kids section with a pancake machine was fun watching to kids being so excited making their pancakes. Not sure the reception staff were as friendly as they could be some look very unapproachable. Loved the complementary sweets available. Well appointed room didn’t feel cramped, had a shower over the bath which was unexpected great having a clothes line in there. We would definitely stay again.
